I wonder if that is the second grey/silver painted two seated J-20S or not?Busy in Chengdu. Note the image is a high-resolution version of a previously released image.
It obviously is. You can tell by elongated canopy with the prominent bar in the middle.
does the coloring mean J20S is already in service?

Nope.
Basically saying that the Pilot of J-20 would need to transform into a decision making strategist now due to the vast amount of information this platform can collect/is required to operate, thus demands the pilots to develop many whole new area of knowledge including how to handle drone wing man and combined ops with other type of aircrafts, hopefully in the future there might be introduction of AI into the system to help the pilots to reduce pressure
