Xi Yazhou deliberately changed his haircut to imitate Kim when he did his run down of the North Korean military parade last year:
He seems to really dig the look so he's been keeping it.
He's nickname is "列车长" or train driver, he even refers to himself as such and calls his series "亚洲特快" or "Yazhou Express". "To drive a train" in Chinese means to engage in unhealthy discussion (usually of a sexual nature, but can also be generalised to discussing things that should not be discussed for secrecy reasons). That is not to say he's another Minnie Chan - he does his home work and gets most things right, but allows more "rumours" of dubious sources in his video than say his more rigorous colleague 施佬. That's the angle he's going for.
So on an axis for military watchers that go from completely factual to Minnie Chan, Xi Yazhou would probably be in the middle.
I will text this Kim Jong-un looking guy about the comparison.People are very supportive and say that you are the first foreign analyst to take an even approach to Chinese aircraft. The rudest comment I saw compared you to this Kim Jong-un looking guy.

I don't think he'll appreciate it. I listened to one of his podcasts and he displayed a disdain for bean counters.I will text this Kim Jong-un looking guy about the comparison.
