Please be a bit more contained about your questions, because I've tried to clarify what you meant in terms of quantifying "info" on how J-20 "avionics stack up" but now you've started a broader conversation which really should be focused back so the question can be answered and ended.

Well I'm no longer seeking an answer seeing as how the general consensus is that we just don't know enough beyond a few surface level details.

It probably is true that at this point a J-20A/S with WS-15s is the deadliest air-to-air platforms on the planet right now. Just looking at the Chinese missile arsenal alone confirms that. The Raptors have AMRAAMs with a paltry 110 mile range and is a 30 year old platform that doesn't even have proper data-linking.

I also agree, but you are underestimating the raptors and D3. Also, like J-20, some of them have JATM.

The PL-15 has already ended production (except the export and ARM variants) and is already getting replaced by the PL-16.

Maybe they shouldn't. At the moment it seems plenty good enough to cover export markets.

The PL-15 domestic and export variants are different. The domestic variant is no longer in production, whilst the export variant still is.

Note that domestic variants will likely remain in service for a long time, only being phased out starting from the elite units with its successor the PL-16. So domestic use will continue until the now-limited stock is exhausted, either from use, expiry, or perhaps conversion to export specification.

The left-hand yellow one has a darker front, maybe a tarp covering? The right hand grey one also has my attention - the darker canopy area appears longer than the others, possibly meaning that it's an S variant amongst the others.

I don’t know how you can tell based on the image resolution.
