Not that I'm explicitly challenging the authenticity of this (as timing of the release of such imagery and the quality of this imagery are reasonable), but who was the original poster of this?
Huh you’re right maybe different shot of the sun. Without a frame by frame can’t rule out one is just brightened up version of the other though? (I’m too lazy to do a frame by frame).

Unless we have a definitive source that is reliable which that account got the image from, I am cautious about interpreting it as real.

Best to use the term radius if we are being strict. None of the properties implied by a limit (mathematically at least) apply here.
Not that said emotions really matter much—an ideal scenario to me would be the West viewing Chinese equipment like the Indians.
