Should be for both. Extra low-speed authority for a naval jet should be a no-brainer.

Yeah that does make sense, it needs to be able to pull its nose up quickly at slow speeds in case of a landing or take-off mishap, but the added weight and complexity is gonna make carrier operations really difficult. Even the US Navy doesn't have a stealthy TVC carrier jet.

its from AECC Shenyang. most likely their ACE engine based on existing core machine WS-10/WS-15.. same like what GE/PW did.
