This black scheme with blue highlights is absolutely stunning compared to the greys both light and dark of the J-35 and F35, and the shiny livery of the old J-20 (although I never particularly liked that one). Incredibly striking. But I'm not sure whether I like this black-and-white livery more or that of the Su-57, both are amazing.
Is the J-20 count above 450 now?
The US still has the F-22s too.
That includes the F-22s
A direct comparison of aggregate fighter counts isn't very useful. What matters is how many of these fighters can be brought to the battlefield. And as the battlefield in question is going to be the Western Pacific, that rules out all the F-22s and F-35As. The Americans will only be able to bring whatever F-35Cs and F-35Bs they can carry on their CVNs, LHDs, and LHAs. In case you're trying to keep count, that total number is probably under 70.
