Overshadowed? Yes. Does that make the J-20’s showing not impressive? I don’t think so. Next time someone calls it a giant lumbering striker and AWACS hunter just show them doing a few of those tight turns while tossing out those big vortices. Show me an Aardvark that can do those maneuvers.

Admittedly the roll rate at high AOA appears to be in the same league as other twin engined 4th gens.

cobra and falling leaf maneuvers look very impressive but they're not very useful in actual ACM
