The new coatings are interesting but it's still using those engines. Still they did show us a J-10 with new engine technology. So I think this is a quite memorable show.
Not to mention all the drones and other assorted technology shown here.

????? This image isn't new. It was first posted in April of this year, but does anyone know if this represents anything close to official, or is this a really good PS job?????

I'm not commenting on the quality of the aircraft, I'm commenting on the quality of the videos! What kind of crap is that. If you are a fan of J-20, don't tell me that you are satisfied!

The best video for J-20 in Zhuhai 2016 was shot by a Japanese, not by those 喉舌。If you disagree, show me the video, otherwise, shut up. Simple as that.

I've already said that Zhuhai doesn't have clear sky. It takes skills to shoot high quality video in such condition, just having expensive equipment is not good enough. That's beyond the capabilities of those 喉舌。China sure have good photographers, but they are not hired. and you know damn well the reason for that.

talking about the aircraft, J-20 was designed by people like Yang Wei, during time of economic distress, they dedicated to what they love and they are heroes. The success of J-20 has nothing to do with how well the current system works, just like having world's biggest number of self-made women billionaires doesn't really reflect women's rights in today's China; they arose from system of the past! Wait till the new crops take the power, and see what they are capable of. Economic situation is much better now, but let's not make China's aircraft designers as incapable as those photographers!

Japan's aerospace industry might not be that advanced, but they sure produce many more Nobel prize winners. China has many things to learn, yet it is becoming a more and more shallow and superficial society, that doesn't bode well for me.

Do you know how long it takes to develop a Turbofan engine?
More than 20 years.

Do you know how long it takes from getting research results to winning Nobel Prize?
About 22 years.
Not including the time cost on building research instruments.

1980s to 1990s is Japanese golden age.
But Chinese are seeking for enough food and clothing at that time.

Time will change everything, we just need to wait for 20 years.
You will find how you see today's China is wrong.
