Yep, very sad to see the good folks at Chengdu, having to play games with their baby?? this has all turned in to a sad affair, I was so impressed initially to be able to give a play by play, as they designed and built this aircraft, the pilots were out and about with group pictures?

So what was once my favorite thread, (go back and see my old posts, some of my predictions and prognostications have been quite accurate). I guess I just hate games, and gamey people playing games, reminds me of the BHO and DNC teams, smoke, mirrors, and lying people, lying about emails and classified documents, yuck!

Anyway, this has been a very interesting process, as China has brought out her first 5th Gen as a new "clean sheet" design, Dr. Song and his team of designers/engineers changed things up, and in the process brought China out of the shadows, and into the real world, and to see the first prototype in zinc chromate was just a trip, as with the J-15, I am really missing the feeling of being able to be a part of history in the making?

I have felt the same way about the F-15, F-22, and F-35, and it was refreshing to be a part of the J-20 team, and have a little hope that one day, our two nations could actually live in peace.........."oh well???" and I'm not saying that the BHO team hasn't contributed a great deal to this "shut down", to much talk and "bally-who".

Probably will be used as such. I thought they were still prototypes.

But I believe that the 21xx birds are a true production run, what I would have considered LRIP.

One thing is for sure, they have plenty of test articles and have performed a lot of testing and improvements on them.

I count eight prototypes:

2001
2002
2011
2012
2013
2015
2016
2017

Surely 2016 and 2017 are very close to the prediction standard and may well be used accordingly.
