I think he ment J-16 or J-11BS before he get to the next aircraft which is J-10B. He was wrong about previous aircraft too then because those darker flanker are clearly not J-15 (without canards).
Sorry...but you are incorrect about Deino.

When I read Deino's post, It was clear that he properly identified the J-15...without doubt. You might want to read his post again and then count off the aircraft from left to right (perhaps you went from right to left?) you will see that his J-15 is correctly identified.

Once you do that...you ought to apologize to him.

Thanks ... and it seems as if You hacked my PC, since there will be indeed a "Chinese Fighter Report" in the next Combat Aircraft monthly sadly not with a surprising invitation from CAC but simply as a "current situation" report on China's fighter force.

Deino

Don't worry. Your chance will come when the initial batch enters service later this year.

p.s. I don't really know if it is going into service later this year. Just pulling on people's legs here.

...oops. I see Ultra already did apologize. Sorry, I should have read to the end before posting.

But when I see someone take a poster like Deino to task when Deino so clearly is spot on target...I trend to shoot from the hip. LOL!

Well??? here we are among very extraordinary gentlemen, defending one and apologizing to another one, and Ultra was very quick to his apology, very commendable gentlemen. Also congratulations Deino on your newest publication! Maybe we should just appeal to President Xi for that trip to Chengdu, I'll go with you to carry your luggage bruda!

Eleven days with no news on the J-20, right after New Years, and this used to be our busy season here on SDF? very sad indeed, very punk to be left out of this very exciting project!

Yeah, the crackdown on Chinese military enthusiasts taking or posting photos online have really reduced unofficial news to less than a trickle. The lower level of activity on this forum is noticeable.

while stealth fighter taking the spotlight , Electronic warfare fighter cannot be underestimated.

This clip talks about the story of why a particular EA-18G fighter painted a small symbol of F-22 on its body. All because this particular fighter has killed a F-22 in simulated battle.

Individual kills don't matter. Kill ratios matter. Wars are not decided by one on one performances, and by a large average stealth fighters are still going to perform better in and against electronic warfare than their non stealth counterparts..

yeah, it does. In many simulated battles, traditional F16, F15 all got killed by F22. Growler is an exception. The kill was not an accident but through active electronic countermeasure.

the F22 itself doesn't kill other plane but the missile. Anytimes it has to shoot a missile, it's liable to be detected and the missile can be disrupted by countermeasure.
