my thoughts exactly, but it is possible, and some test articles are much more detailed in specific equipement to perform certain tests, for example the F-35 high alpha testing required the addition of a spin-chute, and supporting structure???
What are the prospects of 3 prototypes being used for testing at the same time, after the initial necessary test sequential stage---to speed up things, like what I have mentioned in a few posts above? A bit like programming parallel computational codes, where you identify sections of the test programme where variables are not strongly correlated and can be tested independent from the other and in parallel.
Possible, or is that just me talking non-sense?
