Now back home from school ... and as promised it is an old image:

On my "not too small" collection of J-10 it was saven on "Thuesday, ‎18. ‎Dezember ‎2012, ‏‎07:44:27" !

Hope that helps a bit,
Deino:eek:

Yes it does, and thank you Deino, and good morning from Central Obamastan gentlemen, as much as I miss the J-20, I miss my Sino D buds more, have been mowing and gardening which has kept me partially distracted from the dearth of information about the J-20/J-31 etc.. We are all wondering about our girl and what this lock-down means, as I have said before, it really seams to be fairly general, and appears to coincide very closely with our own sequester, we do know that the Liaoning is dockside, so I would continue to speculate that it is a "drawdown", although the J-15s appear to be on track.
This looks to also be an official "policy" change in allowing less transparency to the outside world?????
The fact that we don't have any anecdotal info regarding flights and ops in general even without pics to confirm is indeed confounding, BHOs policies and IRS suppression of conservatism in general is having a profound influence on the buying power of "all" of us.
Hopefully this will all soon turn around, but it is not looking to promising on this end????

I hope some members will post some of their archived pix and info to keep this thread "warmed up". Hopefully we will see 2003 this summer??? Brat

To admit: If we won't see 2003 I will be worried even more than I'm already !:( ... for my feeling this break lasts now already much too long and either there were some issues uncovered, which need to be corrected (what I don't think) or that bird '2003' (hopefully) might incorporate more changes than I so far expected.

Deino

It looks very PSed. The blur in the background is not a bokeh. It's motion blur, which is inconsistent with the sharp focus on the J-10.

What if the camera was following the J-10, so that the background is moving relative to the camera, but not the J-10?

edit: ok someone else have already mentioned it.

I thought about the possibility, but I wasn't sure there would be such a drastic difference between foreground and background. Either way, I guess the pic is real, because Deino has it on file.

Eh... Sometimes, due to insufficient lighting or intended effect, to get a clear image of an object moving at hight speed, your camera has to follow it, leaving the stationary background blurred.

P.S. Ha... I just saw no_name's response.

It was the level of sharpness and focus that threw me off.
