Finally, the J-15B - as it seems most likely officially the J-15T - catapult capable variant has landed!

Interesting: It looks to be a LRIP aircraft numbered 1518 (cn. 010014), that was so far not known and it is powered by WS-10 engines!

Unfortunately, the images are too large To post!

I read someone say that the one we saw last week could be J-15B.
J-15T would be powered by WS-10.
It's possible that they have an interim step with upgraded avionics and weapon suite before moving to the full J-15T version.

I read some comments on Weibo about how the canards on J15T are different, something about they are individually moveable to help with maneuvers. Was this not the case with the original J15s?

I would take that statement with a pinch of salt until we see proof that the foreplanes are indeed individually movable, but yeah the old J-15 (and indeed every other flanker with foreplanes I think) have them not individually movable. Indeed I believe that during normal flight, which means excluding takeoff and landing, the foreplanes act more or less like a windvane, maintaining 0 degrees AoA with incoming flow to the best of its ability.
