The wingtip pylon design looks new. Some Weibo users suggest it might be the same design as described in the design patent below (2nd image).

And with J-15 no. 79, the last gap is now clearly closed ... so that all machines are documented from No. 60 to 92*. Come on, SAC and PLAN … and now show us the J-15B! *PS: strange however is that this is an uneven number (33), so I expect at least one more J-15.

You think this concerning my hint towards the J-15B?

Actually I don‘t think so, the J-15Bs must be flown at a unit for quite some time before they will start testing it off the new carrier. As such I expect them to appear anytime soon, so that pilots - and not only a few test pilots - are well experienced with the new type before they start carrier trails.
