They r not even factory serial numbers, they r airframe numbers given by unit/sqadrons.

Yes.

In case you were under false impressions, let me be clear.
Unit numbers is exactly what I've been referring to in the last few posts as being vital, important and essential to our estimates of PLA orbats, and that you have no basis to criticise in the way that you did.

I can not be anymore clear than this.

Having looked at yesterday's images again on large screen, i am having some doubts. But at least this one can be added to @huitong gallery. The 6x series on a carrier seems to be fairly recent.

I was trying to answer the question about whether 3x still exist or it has been renumbered to be inline with 6x and 7x. I can prove 3x and 7x at least existed at the same time. Based on the fact that photo of 3x and 6x on a carrier seems to only have appeared around april-may time frame, and 6x existed before that, suggests that 3x and 6x are not the same as well.

No 32 performing landing, note the presenter in the foreground.32.JPG

Same presenter with 72 from the same recent documentary. Suggests those are footage shot specially for the documentary.

Same documentary showing at least 6 3x serial numbered planes. Having looked at the image on large screen, 2nd left look more like 35. That means they are 3?, 35, 31, 33, 32, 30. Could 3? be 34? Whether the number go from 30-35 or 30-39 is now still uncertain.

they don't need more besides the 1 near Wuhan used for training/trials; a mock up can't launch & recover planes like a real CV/N.

Hi in the end can we assume about a possibility of having more j15 then needed before the 3/4 ACC get online and the new pilots with the old numbers getting landing and takeoff training on the running ACC so these pilots will be ready and rolling with the experience of once 3/4 ACC in line
anyone with some more knowledge to comment please
thank you
