3. The J-10CE has paid additional attention to compatibility and integration with other weapon systems
This might indicate that GAC might be able to manufacture J-20 when it is complete. Especially as in 3., weapons compatible with new J-20’s might be available for J-10CE from now on.

To be clear, the importance of this point was compatibility with foreign weapon systems, such as the US's and Europe's

Possibly J-20 production will move to GAC once CAC ramps up J-36 production.

Huh? Hope you are well. Because such an event, IF it happens, may not be that far off into the future. Just 10 or so years, possibly.

No, all fine my friend, but IMO production of the J-36 will not start within the next 5 years and even if, the facility at CAC is IMO large enough to produce the J-36 along with then late variants of J-20, if it is ever still in production by then and I don't think - alone numbers wise (imagine what an air fleet this would be!) - that J-20 production will ever be transferred to GAIG to continue there for even longer.

From what I have heard, CAC and GAIC are basically the same entity now as CAC has acquired over 90% the shares of GAIC.

GAIC has not developed any new aircraft since the JL-9. CAC thus wanted to delegate production duties for the J-10 and some UCAV to GAIC in order to fully utilize this existing facilities and keep sharpening the skills of the team stationed there.
