Ayi also said that there is another African country which signed the purchase deal for J-10CE as well, apart from Egypt. Said country actually signed the deal before Egypt (i.e. the 1st African country to do so, Egypt being the 2nd one), but is more hesitant to pay than Egypt (但第一个国家在付款方面比埃及犹豫).

This matches what the Guancha Trios said in an early-November 2024 podcast (as a side mention of the main discussions on China's 6th-gen manned combat warplanes), i.e. "3 more foreign orders (not including Pakistan)".

Two more mystery countries...
Could be Nigeria, Algeria and Ethiopia.

Well, but that - "3 more foreign orders (not including Pakistan)" - would be a hint towards two more still unknown customers besides Egypt?

Any idea which countries these could be? Sudan was mentioned already before ...

Could be Nigeria, Algeria and Ethiopia.

Why Nigeria and Ethiopia? Nigeria has JF-17 and Ethopia?? I don't know...

Algeria is indeed an option.

So.... The deal realistically won't go through.
There's a reason why already downpaid and built su-35 were never delivered to Egypt. US leverage on Egypt is simply too great.

But what could they do ?

Freeze overseas assets, partially restrict movement, cancel loans, cancel aid, cancel existing support, restrict payments through internstional systems etc etc.
Basically, make it so expensive that it's not worth it. Not just to the government and involved companies but also individuals handling the purchase who have, proportionally speaking, most to lose.
