Hello, noob here. Has anybody seen a side by side comparison of J10B vs Eurofighter Typhoon? I am interested to know which plane is better given the cost of each. Also, throughout this whole forum, people always like to compare China's assets vs the USA for some reason. That's why I want to know how China's army, navy and air force would hold up against another foe like for instance India or Vietnam? Thanks.

Compared to Vietnam? Are you serious?

A comparison with the US has been made because most believe that China's long term ambition is to match and eventually overtake the US as the world leader.

Looks like a loading test of the J-10B.

Just thinking about the numbers of frontline aircraft PLAAF has added roughly 1 Regiment per year of J10A and 1 Regiment of J11B, J10A has been running much longer than J11B but together they have delivered over 450 fighter aircraft

Going forward with J16, J15 and J10B if we expect similar production runs until 5th generation aircraft start production say post 2018 then we can expect maybe a further four Regiments of each aircraft, the final tally on the J10A/B might exceed 400 units and the Flanker family would also be massive

I don't know anything about Vietnam's forces, not sure why I said them other than that they are China's neighbour. ok, let's say NATO ex USA then?
Doesn't make sense. NATO is there to support US adventures. There is just no profit in such a confrontation for the non-US NATO countries. Besides Germany's economy thrives ( or did until a short while ago ) because of its trade with China.
