What is the point in investing all that time and money to train fighter pilots if they are not allowed to do their job during the only time that matters? I think the PAF should either not recruit single sons or else do away with this unusual exemption.

As for women fighter pilots, well that is just sexism, and that really should be consigned to history as soon as possible by all nations.

In the modern age, women should have the same rights and responsibilities when it comes to the defense of their homeland, especially in all volunteer cases.

If those women are willing to put their lives on the line for their country, what right does anyone else have to refuse them?

I would think it perfectly acceptable for women to participate in extremely physically demanding military roles like frontline infantry and special operations units provided they can make all the grades.

If they are as capable as their male counterparts, then there is no reason to categorically deny them places in those services or hold them back during war.

The only time I would consider holding them back as being appropriate is if the enemy was an unconventional force, or a conventional force that does not follow the rules of civilized warfare and the women would likely be subject to sexual abuse if they fell into enemy hands.
Two remarks:
1) There are many complaints about sexual abuse of women members of the US armed forces by their own colleagues. It might well be similar in the armed forces of other countries.
2) Traditionally the contribution of women to the armed forces of a country was the production of sons. Currently the loss of sons due to women being injured or dying in the service of a country's armed forces can easily be compensated by other women being more productive but this circumstance can change.

According to this wall-climber the J-10B looks like it is about to enter service soon (serial number???). Unfortunately the first batch will use AL-31 engines.

But regarding the camouflage I would suggest this to be an older modified prototype ! IMO this is no. 03 !

Why not ?? If I'm not mistaken and it really is no. 03 / 1033 with some panels removed and yet unpainted, it is quite logically powered by the AL-31F.

Just wondering about the first batch being fitted with AL-31 since they already tested ws-10 on it, so maybe the first batch were already being constructed while the test with ws-10 was underway.

Why do You still think it is a "first batch" aircraft ??? It has a camouflage and some parts replaces ... IMO (just look at the image) it's '1031' the very first prototype fitted with some new parts incl. the radome ! Regrettably nothing more ....

Here should be a video I can't see :(

Looking forward to seeing the J-10B being inducted into the People's Liberation Army Air Force, as well as, Pakistan Air Force.
