Hezbollah has announced its willingness to attack Israel from the north:

“If Israel sends ground troops into the Gaza Strip, they will meet us with all their forces in the north.”

So basically it is OK to bomb Gaza indefinitely as long as no territory annexation. I can see this as sign for deescalate really.

The historical aspect of it is that Israel has been ethnically cleansing Palestinians since 1948 starting with the Nabka
You may observe that 60% of Israel's Jewish population hails from ethnically Arab Jews who lived in the surrounding countries prior to Israel's formation. Why do you think they all felt such compulsion to move, despite having to abandon what property they had?

I agree. I could be wrong but I do not see anything Israel could gain by annexation that it could not get at a much lower cost by leveraging its fires superiority. Gaza isn't religiously significant and is not valuable terrain other than it being the base of enemy command. So I strongly doubt there will be a physical incursion at scale. Hezbollah knows this hence the bluster. They have proven their capability at defense but there is no reason to believe that an actual conventional offensive against Israel would fare better than prior Arab attempts.

I don't see how that is particularly relevant. But since you are at it, can we also talk about white Israelis, which comprises the majority of the wealthy setlers and ruling elite of Israel, feel about these arab israelis?. Or even better, how do they feel about african jews?.

Yeah I can't possibly see why over half of Israel's founding Jewish population being refugees from ethnic cleansing in Arab majority countries could possibly be relevant to contextualizing the broader conflict, or critically interpreting Arab narratives on it.

Unrelated intra-Jewish tensions definitely seem more salient.

Victory or defeat, life or death are no important compared with the geopolitical ramifications of the conflict. A new front has opened, and maybe a new strategic window as well. All of this for an upscale dinner gala in Beijing.

so you reckon China will benefit most from this conflict? I agree with that

Really interesting what the responses from the US, potentially a blunder response and will turn all Muslim dominated countries against the US and choose the side with China

I think China should take this opportunity to show how hypocrite westerners and their media about Uyghur

The US hate China and Muslim ........ but strangely the US love so much of Chinese Muslim and Uyghur

Well in mathematic negative times negative is positive, right? ;)

Doesn’t seem like it according to this post. A military analyst from Jerusalem post said there is a massive build up of forces near Gaza with 4 reservist divisions being called up.

"our colonial project" (Jabotinsky)

was founded in 1917

If you are interested in this topic:

Judaism in Persian, Roman and Greek times was a religion

A religion present in "all the nations of the world" (Flavius Josephus): the Persian world, the Roman world and the Greek world which was the whole world seen from the Mediterranean, from the border with China to Hispania and from Yemen to the south of today's Ukraine.

The traditionalist rabbis decided NOT to be a religion and with the passage of time forged the Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian Yiddish people.

"Our colonial project" (Jabotinsky) was founded (1917-) by Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Polish

Well there goes my hypothesis I guess

"our colonial project" (Jabotinsky)
Like I said, there's plenty of dirt to go around in this conflict, but you may also want to look into to what contemporary Arab leaders (and other zionists for that matter) were saying to contextualize this. I think the results would be informative.
