Would be easier for China to just get her out of there. They just need to spoof whatever method they use to track her and drive her to a speedboat heading for international waters where there’s a handful of navy ships to discourage anyone from following.
There isn’t shit Canada can do about it as long as she doesn’t travel outside of China and it’s allies ever again.
Or even easier, let them put her in US but keep arresting American spies until she gets released. No country, no matter how little they value their people, will sacrifice multiple intelligence officials for a civilian. It’s a question of information control.

China Completes World's First 5G-Powered Remote Surgery
(Yicai Global) March 14 -- Two Chinese public hospitals that are located over 2,200 kilometers apart have executed the global first remote surgery, aided by fifth-generation wireless technology.
Dong Jiahong, a hepatobiliary surgeon and Executive President of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, affiliated with Tsinghua University, consulted a team of doctors via live streaming during an operation that involved a patient in critical condition due to a liver tumor, located at Shenzhen People's Hospital, state-backed China News Service reported.
Doctors can plan surgeries and collaborate on them via 5G, which removes the limits of time and space, Dong said.
Telemedicine is expected to develop with technology upgrades that can model anatomical structures more accurately, while giving doctors better means to acquire information and plan operations, Dong added.

HiSilicon closes in on Qualcomm. Only thing stopping HiSilicon is Huawei itself, not allowing Kirin SoCs to be sold to other Chinese phone makers. If this would to happen, Qualcomm would get a very serious competitor at their hands and lose a substantial portion of the Chinese phone maker market.

Cost and economy of scale is a big problem unless China subsidizes them (not out of the question given America does it too)
If you look at Huawei top of the line phones which have not compromised with any foreign labor or lower end parts, they tend to be very expensive. A company like Xiaomi would not afford selling their phones for 900$.
US govt has a history of subsidizing by buying up the company’s products

Kamikazi attack by japanese and In the past , alot of top politicians and high management would committed suicide so scandal things would not implicate their families.basically, they sacrificed so things end there so their family can live a hassle free lives after.
Or at foxconn, workers committed suicide so their family can get lump sum afterward. Again, sacrifice themselves for the family
If meng death means US cannot pursue Huawei case, she would sacrifice for the good of the company. It's very possible.
