That is simply not the trajectory of the warhead. Those Gs, if in that fixed perspective, would have atomised the thing.
What those trails are could be contrails from rockets or others. Possibly scratches or marks on camera lens cover. Certainly not the warhead.
A MaRV may make horizontal maneuvers as it descends but never upwards. I wonder if even a wedge glider HGV could pick up as much gain in altitude as you have drawn. Even if the path drawn is showing a MUCH more exaggerated perspective of such a maneuver.
