People are using “China” as an euphemism for a certain West Asia country to get around the censorship.

This is another weird video I've talked about before that shows up on my home page where you have Japan or South Korea supposedly having Westerners saying how wonderful their countries are compared to China. So you have two Swedish girls here talking but they're muted. You only hear their giggles when it happens, being subtitled in Japanese with English dubbed machine language translation. The two are laughing at points where the translation says nothing funny. What's really weird is the narration brags about how Japanese airports have been rated better service quality than China... in 2016. At the 3:35 mark it says it's because of Japan's values of culture and sex.
If their main export is anything to go by the two are one and the same.
