Even if it's real, what is the big deal.

We know some units and individuals purchase small quantities of higher end equipment.

Unless there is larger scale standardized procurement of such equipment, this is nothing to be particularly impressed about, and even more so when infantry equipment is the most low yield of military procurement for the PLA's primary mission set.

I was about to say the say thing. No IIT I have ever seen allows you to see anything from the front. Imagine how useless NODs would be if the lenses blasted light out like flashlights.

Also, if those were real, turning the on during daytime is a great way to burn them to hell.
