Those are the standard requirements.
Based on the second post, it's a bid by the Army/Ground Force.
You are right, I somehow missed 陆军 in the second photo. So these are definitely ballistic helmets for the Army.

Look like PAP special forces to meAnyone know which unit this is? Is it Special Forces, or SWAT; which city?
At 0:12, 0:21 - 0:27, 0:44, and 1:20 - 1:38. It looks like the same unit in all the time stamps as well.

OkaySorry guys.. Maybe this had been posted before.. I just knew this yesterday.. But i think it's cool so i share here.. And i also still new to this site though most of the time I was a silent reader
A better video on lv4 plate imoOkay
1) totally unscientific but impressive.
2) the Vz fires 7.62x39mm same as the AK series. The Mosin Nagant fires the 7.62x54R round same as the SVD series. The Rex is a 9mm semi auto. The latter is the least likely to defeat the plate even damaged.
3) non AP ammo. The three calibers and ammo types used should definitely not defeat a true level IV plate. Which that plate seems to have been.
Now on the face of it okay impressive but getting deeper is the back face deformation. That clay was not ballistic but those impacts from the 7.62x39mm and 7.62x54R might not kill but wouldn't be a walking away from type of impact. That was large and deep deformation. That Mosin shot probably would have broken the breast bone and the guy wearing it's is coughing up frothy blood from punctured lungs thanks to broken ribs.
The AK shot was right on the heart upper lung area. Again probably a broken rib or two.
Both could result in death or if treated properly be survived.
Remember piercing isn't nessisarily the only means of killing. Often against armored individuals the aim is blunt force.
Weapons of antiquity like maces, flails and the warhammer existed not to puncture but to crush.
Final point this plate doesn't nessisarily represent that of actual PLA issue but does of export plates. The ammo types and plates are fairly representative of what a armed force equipped by Chinese export would look like.
