New dog tags. All metal construction. Basic information such as name, gender, and blood type are etched on the front. A QR code on the back allows access to more information when scanned by a medic's terminal. There is also an embedded chip that stores the wearer's fingerprint, known allergies, and 'injury tickets'.

it seems that these systems are finally making their way to regular infantry units vice just elite forces.

i imagine by 2025 they will be quite common. the way it is described it seems that this stuff is only useful if they are used in big numbers, otherwise it will give you not more than some NVG capabilities.
