Good news! The Mark 1A will finally? be inducted into IAF on may 2026 , 6 of them exactly 1 year after they lost 6 planes
What a weird video. What use does India have for a strategic bomber? If they want a naval patrol plane then wouldn't one that's designed for the task be a better choice? I suppose that a Tu-160 can be used to attack China, but how is one of these supposed to survive getting into Chinese airspace? And if the Russians know that these planes are intended to be used against China, why in the world would they sell? Some Indians wants to buy TU-160
It's impractical and completely unnecessary. It's not out of the question for India to truly become a great power, and maybe even achieve superpower status, but that's not happening without a lot of reforms. Fundamentally, India's biggest problems are inherent in the country itself, and there doesn't seem to be anyone who's interested in fixing them. Besides, China will base some of its military programs on what the Americans can do, they will not do so with regards to India. I think that (other than melee weapons!) the only major piece of equipment that India prompted China to build is the ZTQ-15.do you guys think it’s possible to keep a 2 generation lead on India’s jets at all times
Yes, designed for complex terrain, which includes mountains and swamps. Some ZTQ-15s are stationed in Southern Theatre Command. Not really. I think the ZTQ-15 was designed for the Southern Theater command. Not just India but also Vietnam.
The other issue is that India is only ever on India's side, and I think that everyone is finally starting to realize that. As such, it's impossible for India to get any serious allies or even long term friends, so at most they'll only be able to menace South Asia.
Sure, but I believe the ZTQ-15 is the only tank in the world designed for high altititude performance, and that suggests that there's a need to build specialized vehicles for the high Himalayas. Not really. I think the ZTQ-15 was designed for the Southern Theater command. Not just India but also Vietnam.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around why the Americans think that Australia is capable of helping out much in the Western Pacific. Have they ever looked at a map? Australia is over 4000km away from China and some 3000km away from any potential battlefield. How the hell are the Australias supposed to bring any significant forces there? It's not as if they have any aircraft carriers or strategic bombers, so what the hell gives? The AUKUS book (interview with author ) goes into it a little, but supposedly, the French were trying to form a France-India-Australia bloc. Hard to imagine that working.
That distance also means Australia actually has the closest safe ports for USN to resupply and replenish.I'm still trying to wrap my head around why the Americans think that Australia is capable of helping out much in the Western Pacific. It's over 3000km from the nearest battlefield. If the USN is forced to use Australia as the closest safe port then they've already lost the war. That distance also means Australia actually has the closest safe ports for USN to resupply and replenish.
