At the 1:20 mark, it looks like they have regular office chairs and desks in the command center.

How da fuck are the guys on deck are supposed to see your tiny green flag waved from command center?

Well, at least no one is running around on board with flip flops, yet.
Give them credit, I think that's the first time in my life I've seen an Indian wearing a hard hat.

It seems that India has decided to go for the AK-203.

They will import 70,000 directly from Russia. It's kinda funny how a wannabe superpower still can't design its own rifles and has to import an outdated 762x39 design
Well, they used AKM before,
But it seems they're basically dropping 5.56x45 from army use; not only their 203s are 7.62x39, but their new SIGs are 7.62x51 too.
This is quite clearly a deliberate decision.

Would be interesting to hear reasons from Indians themselves - they tried quite hard to switch to 5.56, only to suddenly throw it out in a few years.

LOL Indians.

So super.

Meanwhile shittalking China for buying a token number of 24 x Su-35 which China agreed to buy from Russia since the 2000s.

The jai hinds are the worst and lowest scumbags. Also the dumbest group of people with the biggest sense of false grandeur. It's ironic and funny if it weren't so horribly annoying. The best achievement jai hinds can aspire to is being a mild annoyance online. That's it. Dhotti barati has no technologies and no industries. Can't even make a set of headphones. Everything they think about is "world best" and "game changing" but they are really absolute zeros who still somehow have the face to tease others.

I'd still like to think that all this is due to Indian economy not doing well. They'd have absolutely bought more SigSaurs but the cost might've become prohibitive.

As part of the replacement process, the new Kalashnikov rifle was to be made in a joint venture production facility located in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The factory manufactures the AK-203 variant of the Kalashnikov family of rifles, which along with the SIG716, manufactured with by United States-based SIG Sauer will replace the INSAS rifles as well as the AK-47s.The AK-203 along with the first batch of 10,000 SIG Sauer rifles were delivered in December 2019.

This purchase is also admission of Indian failure in creating its own competent firearms. Certainly not flattering for an aspiring world power.
