Probably because of different shipbuilding techniques I guess. The Russians also typically launch their large ships like this.
A lot of Indian ship designs seem to be based on Russian/Ukrainian naval technology with Israeli or other western electronics.

Like, the Russians seldom use modular ship construction. Particularly for large ships I think they still use the older method of laying a keel and building the ship on top of that.

It both predates and doesn't contradict modular assembly: you can add modules afloat as well.

Soviet naval attachees noted even in 1930s, what, unlike Soviet shipyards, in the US they launch ships in almost finished condition.

Why it is so? In many cases, launch weight/space restrictions and availible equipment. I'd dare to speculate what tradition plays its part as well.

What's the first guy "stabbing" with? His muzzle?
Some rifles have a modified muzzle device with sharpened points to be used as a makeshift bayonet.
That said they are better used as glass breakers than bayonets.
FAL also has a Bayonet type that doubles as a muzzle device b1488_1.jpg

Is this for real or some kind of youtube joke by the Indian army
There is a video that'd evoke similar reactions that came up some years ago. It was an artillery fire demonstration.
I wonder how and why it goes unnoticed all these years. Seems like some stubborn oldie in a commanding position is getting served what he has ordered, for entertaining his own "refined" palate.
" But sir, are you sure you don't want to look into this. A change surely will be appreciated."
" Yes. I want it done as I exactly as I described it. It will improve their specific skills. I know whats better."
