India's acquisition of Russian made S-400s and Israeli made LRSAMs seems to be a logical step toward ensuring some semblance of ABM capabilities. Perhaps they should also look into Aegis ashore like Japan has done. As for China's capability of building 1000 ICBMs is concerned, well all I'm gonna say "what kinda shitty dope has the guy who reported this, been smoking?" And so what if China has the capability to build a 1000 ICBMs? America and Russia have enough nukes to destroy this planet ten times over.

For China to have 1000 ICBMs, 10000 nuke warheads, only means one thing ... "We come in peace, but if you mess with us, we would leave you in pieces! Have a lovely day." Good for China if they have this much arsenal, no one would mess with China, or Russia.

The DF-41s are scary yes. For countries like the USA. Because China could already hit India with its road mobile IRBMs as it was.
Which they have in much more significant numbers.

If anything I think it makes a nuclear war less likely now that China has missiles like the DF-41.

The Indians allegedly have similar programs. The Agni-VI is a three stage solid propelled ICBM with 8000-12000 km range. It can hit anything except for most of the Americas in a ballistic trajectory. Then there is the Surya missile program which allegedly has even more range and could hit North America.

AFAIK the GSLV uses HTPB solid propellant boosters similar to what the USA missile program used to use in their ballistic missiles and they also have rockets with hypergolic propulsion. So it is not like they cannot build such a rocket if they want to. Especially when they already dominate multi-stage solid rockets.

How so? There isn't any obvious delusion here. The fanboy delusion here at its worst is still less than the delusion of Jai Hindis at their best behaviour over at IndianDefence. They were cheerleading for PAKFA and FGFA a long time ago calling it the next best thing and those sentiments eroded quickly

Now they're cheerleading for Rafale and after the drama in recent months, again some hotheaded guys who were previously excited are not so proudly declaring their love

They were also cheerleading for Insas, LCA, Arjun for years and many of those are still in early stages.

AMCA is the next big cheerleading contest. The rest of the world sniggers with schadenfreude but encourages nationalistic Indians on their merry way to "superpower" status. The only delusion that is real is the chauvinistic Indians with nothing to be proud of yet the loudest in celebration

The delusion of this forum can partly be considered a reaction to the mountains of irrational delusion that exists in the Jai Hindi crowd. Now if only these morons could refocus their hatred and bitterness for Chinese into something more productive, maybe they wouldn't be the Western pawn that they have positioned themselves to be and actually improve the overall quality and standards of their own nation. As bad as Chinese ones are (and often joked about), the irony is the Indians aren't even on the chart. It'll be many decades before the Indians even pose an industrial and economic threat to the west for the west to pry its fingers into again. For now, they can try to export things to the west that isn't even outright banned or totally uncompetitive because their quality is currently the lowest of the low. Delusion of grandeur is only real with the Indians. Chinese and Pakistani chauvinists are a bit more above board and they have good reason to be on the defensive.
