How has Shenzhen SEZ inspired India's Gujarat?
What was weird about that video of that Indian city landscape, there were no high rise buildings, no office towers, no apartments blocks Soviet style or Hong Kong style.

All of India is not exactly an earthquake zone. Why not build tall buildings and house the people?

Shenzhen was only a fishing village when the decision to turn it into a SEZ was made, so this Indian location is actually more developed.;)

I happened to pass through Shenzhen once, when it was a ghost city.

It had tall buildings, but no people.

Those buildings I saw back then, were taller and more numerous than that video.

That's why I ask, it's weird because there should be more construction in that city.

India's power consumption grew 11.4% year-on-year in the first half of October.

I believe that's far faster than China. This despite many Covid cases daily.

Yes impressive. But you got to learn to use comparison. China's power consumption is 4 times bigger than India's. And even compare with India's last year's consumption figure looks pretty poor. Now what's that growth rate again?

Um, you do know China has a 100% power consumption rate right? When you 100% power consumption long before, of course, you won't grow as there isn't anymore room up to grow.
