Notice these are mostly different types and there are more than one class of radar.












WRT mobile early warning radars, China has more types than Israel and many hundreds more units.

In fact, mobile early warning is one thing but heavy weight early warning phased arrays was built all the way back in 1970s with Project 7010.



And nowadays, many similar to PAVE PAW style rotating modern phased arrays.






In summary, China had ABM/BMD radar for a long long time. Just depends what you consider a "ABM/BMD radar" because technically the only ones that count are early warning radars since they are sort of dedicated to looking for ballistic missiles. Apart from those, you have radars that work in conjunction with BMD interceptors. China has several types of BMD interceptors and have been performing BMD tests since the 1960s with the earliest FJ series BMD project interceptors starting with Project 640.

As for modern BMD radars, well there are the Type 346 series ship based that surely count as mobile ones. HQ-19/26/29/SC-19 type interceptors or relatives and whatever radars they are using. HQ-9's and HQ-16's 3D search radars surely count as well despite limited range.

If you're talking about phased arrays in general, then all the examples given count. Israel is far from "capable" in these regards. At least not the only capable ones. If anything they have lesser depth and lesser spread. Also China has performed far more impressive interceptions than Israel, far before Israel and has done far more than Israel. Sorry but some garage build rockets aren't what I'm talking about. We're talking intercepting fast relative velocity LEO satellites, and midcourse and terminal phase intercepting of IRBMs and ICBMs (higher energy and speed than SRBMs and MLRS... possibly also HGVs China has been practicing against too seeing as China is the only one performing hundreds of HGVs flights and the only one who seems to be able to manufacture HGVs in numbers (Khinzhal and ballistic missile warheads are NOT HGVs unless a particular kind of double conical HGV). Can go on, point is you sound quite unaware of what China has been able to do for many, many decades already. Have yet to see Israel perform a IRBM or ICBM interception either mid course or terminal, let alone do a kinetic kill of LEO sat.

Given over the years we've had the designation HQ-19, HQ-26, HQ-29 as modern PLA ABM systems, there should at least be two separate land based ABM/BMD interceptors.
