Looks good, but as a note, the 33rd Division received 28 Su-27UBKs, some of which were parceled out to other groups in exchange for J-11s.
As a note, there might be 24 J-11s per reg, but on top of that, some of the regs also have 4 Su-27UBKs.
J-8IIs have a total of six hardpoints in the wings. You can decide on whatever configuration you want except that the PL-12 or PL-11 isn't used on the outboard pylon. and the PL-8 isn't used on the innermost pylon.
I thought it would be nice to have a complete, regularly updated list of china's combat plane inventory. Which we could later expand to include non combat planes as well.
Now, I know a lot of things on this list is different from what various newsbits say, mainly which planes are with which regiment, and the list itself is at times selfcontradictory and in part it lacks detail. But one has to start somewhere, so I thought the best place to start is Scramble.nl's china's orbats, as they are updated fairly regularly.
I hope, now that we have this first version, we could modify the list to the newest info and make it more detailed and more up to date.
Comments, suggestions, etc?
You've very recently listed 6 regiments that use j10s, and those regiments are different from the ones scramble is listing. So which ones are the real j10 regiments?
Also, is there any way of pinpointing more precisely the number of jh7 in a regiment?
And are there any sources which would help with h6 numbers, primarely the number of regiments with newer variants: H, G, M, etc. I guesstimated there are 18 h6 per bomber regiment. Is there a source to confirm that or deny it?
Also, is 28 q5 per regiment a fine number? Should it be more? Less?
Could you tell me how many planes are there in a dadui? Also, what is the smallest official tactical group used by plaaf? I was told USAF, for example, is using 4 plane groups, though, unofficially, those sometimes get broken down to pairs, if tactical situation requires it.
In any case, 19, an odd number, seems quite peculiar for a regiment. There has to be a standard, a number which is the nominal number of jh7 planes in a given regiment.
