For those cant speak Cantonese, the highlights are:

The police in reply to the old guy, said the youth are throwing petrol bomb.

Journalists replied, if you don't twist the youths arms, they wont be throwing petrol bombs! So professional intervening when it suits them, and so much bias!

Later, the old man claimed there's been 50 deaths! Lol! Not even the MSM mentioned any deaths. Just showed what sort of world these guys live in their own heads!

All these protestors have to do is name everyone they claim that has been killed and they can't name one. Even the ones they claim were kidnapped off the streets ever since the handover, they can name but they can't.

It's funny how people are claiming that protestors around the world are following Hong Kong protestor tactics like stalking police and attacking them. In other countries they would already be dead from being shot. If police were given permission to use deadly force, these protestors wouldn't even gotten to the point where they think they can stalk police for them to attack.

I think many members in this thread had elaborated far enough on this - The CCP is in a fix right now to take swift action. Such protests will not happen in the mainland because the first signs of someone even thinking about something similar and ... *poof* he disappears - like Houdini did to the elephant.
But HK is different in the sense that it is very necessary to validate 'One Country and Two Systems'. China really does not feel the impact of "losing-face" to the West or the Global Audience BUT it certainly does care for the face presented to the brothers across the Strait -Taiwanese. All these silence and perceived lack of realistic effort is for the Taiwanese to feel less threatened on the issue regarding '1C2S'. Because the idea of 1C2S is not for hindering the Taiwanese choosing to be democratic or not - it is for hindering them from taking an even more drastic step - Independence. Although it could be argued that the concept of Independence is flawed (Isn't Taiwan already "Independent'' ? ) and that China could diplomatically alienate Taiwan a lot - the issue is more psychological. China has to bite its tongue and hang it till the Taiwanese elections ( as well as the HK polls).

Anyone who wants to go give these little cockroaches a taste of their own medicine could go over, openly speak mandarin and beat the living daylights out of any of the rioters who think speaking Mandarin in a Chinese city is enough justification for randomly attacking people; go back to China and laugh in the face of the cockroaches if they want to press charges by citing the lack of any extradition agreement between the mainland and HK.

Again--
The Taiwanese are NOT the Green Party Peoples of Taiwan. You can't attack all of Taiwanese (psychologically) because a certain political faction within their country is fueling unrest. This issue needs careful maneuvering by th CCP. 1C2S needs to be validated above all. No amount of blood letting and pain can convince the CCP otherwise.
