Yeah the Tupelov bombers are some of my favourite aircraft, especially in the Soviet era bare metal finish, they just looked so cool and menacing!

H-6J with 4x YJ-12 and 2x ECM pods

The latest image (January 2020, taken from a Malaysian oil platform) indicated that H-6J flew long range recon/"show of force" missions over the disputed South China Sea, carrying 4 YJ-12 AShMs.

What an impressive sight; A H-6K loaded with four YJ-12 AShM.

I must admit, at first sight I thought it would be a PLAN Naval Aviation H-6J, but due to the lack of the ECM-pods it looks indeed to be a H-6K.

How effective do you think is kawasaki P1 as a naval bomber as compared to the H6J?
