Why do the base of the fin and the end of the fuselage on the H-6 still retain the shape dictated by the original tail gun barbette on the tu-16? The gun has been eliminated for ages.

The APU is housed where the automatic gun turret used to be. You can see the APU exhaust.

Ever since the military restructuring, this H-6 squad boosted training time by 3 times and total training ammunition consumed by between ten to twenty times. The amount of ammunition consumed thus far in 2019 exceeded the net sum consumed in the previous two years.
