I don't think this warrants much discussion. Probably a forum or Weibo post that is getting circulated. BTW 55 tons of payload is unrealistic.

Max payload of 55 tons kind of invalidates the credibility of this post. 55 tons would make it by far the largest bomber ever built, with nearly 3x more payload than the B-2 Spirit. What would be the point of such a large plane, when even the US is scaling down their next gen stealth bomber.
The only reason I can see is carrying a large load of cruise missiles to CONUS. Which would be a capability coming with a lot of opportunity costs.
It's a bomber that can also double as a military transport aircraft!

If a source is unknown and and the credibility of a rumour is in doubt, then please don't post it until information can be ascertained.
That is especially the case for big ticket projects for things like H-20.
Anyone can write a few sentences on a word processor and make it sound tantalizing. This forum doesn't exist to serve as an archive for something that anyone can write -- it relies on being able to discriminate likely rumours and good sources from others.
If one lacks the ability to identify good sources, then do the safe thing and don't post them (for many topics this is the case for myself as well).
With a payload capacity of 55 tons and a range of 12,000km, This plane better come with a flushable toilet!
This is how "serious" I take this claim.
There's no point in having such a large payload if it means sacrificing stealth, stealth bombers rather than missile trucks are much more valuable and to be used on valuable targets penetrating defenses. Size matters in stealth even with the best technology a very large aircraft will have a larger radar cross section. So I think we can expect the H-20 to be smaller in size comparable in payload to an H-6 or around a B-2 but not more.
