For me, the biggest thing that happened to China in 2025 is that it's the year it fully established itself as a superpower. China has probably been there a couple of years ago, but this was the year it was undeniable by anyone paying attention. The most decisive moment for me was when Trump put tariffs on everyone in the world and while just about everyone else folded, China didn't blink. The US kept on pushing the tariff up, 50%, 100%, 200%, and it was the US itself that ended up backing down. And this is why, despite all the prognostication and the doomsayers, it's impossible to deny China's superpower status. When only one country in the world can go tit for tat with the US, and the Americans are the ones to give up, everyone can see what's going on and what the implications are.

The US didn't give a fuck then and they wouldn't give a fuck if they did it today if they could. But you know all the West is going to be demanding China "think about the world", meaning them, and be responsible in its actions. You already saw it happen back the 2008 Western Financial Crisis when the US and Great Britain pulled money out of Western banks thus essentially starting all the troubles Europeans are facing today in the world. Now you know why the West demanded China make financial reforms to their liking as a major concession after all these years because they wanted to do exactly what they did before and easily move money in and out of China. Now the West is vulnerable to what China does.

Each win in question are worthy on their own so did Beijing plan them to happen all in the same year because of Made in China 2025? Was that the message China was sending out? I guess we'll see if more epic events happen in the coming year and there after.

Holy shit that is a long and impressive list and as @Phead128 mentioned, the serial production of WS-15 powered J-20 isn't even there (yet). I would also say that rumors of the 9/3 military parade in service combat drones being capable of taking down all but the best of pilots is another point. It's not as solid in evidence but it is collosal in impact since this seems to be the future of aerial combat and China is at the absolute lead if this is true.

I need this meme but with like 10 buttons...
