i want to say river class frigate, but that's probably not correct.

well, it's been two days and no one's said anything yet? some hints? :D

lemme start by asking:

1. Is it a WWII frigate / corvette / destroyer escort?

2. Did it serve with the Royal Navy?

3. Was it originally an American design?

And of course, as always, you have the right to refuse answering any questions. :D

my hunch is a coast guard cutter, 1950s or 60s.

Guns and bridge seems to be brittish, but I cant come up with any similar size desing with flush deck like in US DDEs. So my suggestion is US DDE type in RN (or colonial) service modified to minesweeping?
