OK, I declare myself the winner. It's the Convair Kingfish, a rival to Lockheed in what eventually became the SR-71. These pictures date from the late 1950s.

correct. It always interested me how people remark that Admiral Belgrano was outdated, yet RN itself only decommissioned these in 1979

I don't think there is a proper designation as such, but it's basically a Leopard 1 chassis fitted with a T-72 turret. It's appeared on at least one reputable site, but I think it's a fake. Any backstory on this would be appreciated.
