Ah yes. Steel/aluminum fencing poles that are very much shaped like MRLS rockets are definitely going to be used for setting up fences. Definitely have zero chances for civil-cum-military applications.

India is supposedly a secular state. But India's current ruling party BJP and their affiliated paramilitary organization RSS are extremely Hindu nationalistic and their ultimate goal is to make India a Hindutva state. One of their biggest obstacles is having a large Muslim minority. Israel is also trying to establish a fully Jewish state, with the obstacle being a Muslim group. So may be the Hindutva Indians feel a connection to Israel because of that.
The other reason would be to please the West. They couldn't do that with the Russia-Ukraine case because they depend on Russia for a lot of their weapons, but in Israel-Palestine case they don't have anything to lose by siding with Israel.
