One wonders if the Indian roads started matching the American standards due to an improvement in the Indian roads, or simply due to deterioration of the American roads.
Nonetheless its a laudable achievement, its like when the guy who always got a solid F now got a D.
Speaking of Carrier specific aircrafts, what do you think about India's indigenous carrier aircraft TEDBF? Knowing Indians, it's all a bunch of hot air and probably will be years behind schedule and over budget but conception and building prototypes is one thing,mass manufacturing is quite another. So what are your thoughts about this new Supapoowah aircraft?
To simply put it, the Indian Navy's attempt at developing indigenous carrier-based fighter has been rather lackcluster (and somewhat like a headless chicken) for a better part of the last two decades, but at least they are starting to get a hang on those things now.
I do believe that TEDBF would eventually enter service with the Indian Navy (it's not like they have any other viable choice, as the F-18/Rafale are just meant as stopgaps), but perhaps with little to some degree of delays.
Meanwhile, the mass production of not just TEDBF, but frankly any Indian fighter would still be facing a big plaguing factor as long as aircraft engines and key components aren't completely indigenous.
