Today, I see 44 out of 135 coal plants reporting <1 day's worth of coal
4 days ago, it was only 28 coal plants

So it looks like the situation is getting worse

Given that 75% of coal is supplied from domestic mines, that means 25% is imported
But imported coal is 3x more expensive, and the Chinese government has given orders to buy up all the seaborne supplies available.

The spot electricity prices on Indian exchanges have also been reported as 3x normal levels
