As a Democrat, he seems to be putting the nail in the coffin of his political career. A decade from now, any Democrat trying to get elected as president will need a good relationship with China (and hence corporate America) to get it done. The Titans of Capitalism have finally begun to learn that it doesn't pay to bet against China.
If speech isn't free, thought isn't free, and freedom is life. Lack of freedom is thus death. Anyone attempting to censor tiktok, is limiting speech and freedom, thus is a killer.
