I don't know if he's right, but it's definitely a reasonable assumption. It's a bit hard for some people to wrap their heads around the F-35 being one of the best fighter planes in the world and being seriously flawed at the same time. But I think that it's still very important to remember what Lockheed Martin wants: if the F-35 program is a never-ending money pit, then that's only good news for them, so why would they want to change anything?
