The claim was found in an aviationist article not unlike the one that you quoted. There is no actual reference to specific simulation other than it was based on a simulation and so one would have to view such claims with a degree of scepticism depending on your own personal leaning on the F-22's capabilities. There will never be anything official other than actual combat statistics.

Well gents, that is a true story, around the time that Langley was converting to the F-22, one F-22 took on 8 F-15s and defeated them all, as they attempted to defend their airspace against the F-22. I have read this same story in multiple sources with no variation on the theme, and I do believe it is a very up-front mano-a-mano beat down. I did a quick search for it and so far I can't come up with the original credible source, but I believe it was published as fact in the Air Force Magazine!

KILL means the same as Dead, they all dead, everyone, the Raptor Man visited like one of the apocalyptic horseman, they DEAD!

found one on five for you :)
can you describe ROEs?

That intial 1 to 8 encounter with the Raptor defeating the F-15s had NO ROE's, it was mano-a-mano, the Raptor killed everybody BVR, all the F-15s had been "killed" by the Raptor that was NOT encumbered with limiting ROEs. Their is NO need for an exchange of gunfire to determine who the victor is, the USAF always fights to the death in every engagement, people often die in flight test and simulated ACM, trust me when I say it is real, and tell those dead men, or more importantly their families, that it wasn't "real".

So the Raptor had been very well proven against multiple foes, in every type of aircraft, the only thing it has not flown against are the J-20 and T-50, while these aircraft will be excellent and very agile fighters, the results will be the same, as stated by the head of the skunk works, the Raptor has superior stealth, avionics, and thrust, smart money gives the Raptor a significant edge!

Well I'm editing this after watching your 1 to 5 video Jura, and the video confirms that there were NO Roes, it was to the "death", nobody ever saw the Raptor, he killed them all, and as he finished the last of the five he over-flew his aircraft to "show himself", Stealth is the "silver bullet", LOL. Gee I just love it, and I'm so "happy" the Raptor is a USAF original!

Remember during the 1 Raptor vs 8 Eagles situation, all the 7 F-15s were piloted by experienced F-15 pilots who are currently in the F-22 program and the other was the one and only Paul Metz. They all got their @sses kicked and after final kill the F-22 flew right over them and nobody saw it until it actually visibly flew over the downed F-15s. The F-15 pilots said it was extremely disconcerting to hear the RWRs go off but they had noway of locating F-22.

YIKE!! :eek::eek::eek:

Edit:

AFAIK, there is only one aircraft that managed get away from an F-22 BVR strangle-hold and actually manged to score a kill. But, it is a very rare thing.

then I'm sorry to repeat myself
... I wonder what "kill" would actually mean??

I mean since a Raptor carries up to 8 missiles, and a launch doesn't always mean a hit ... you know, I hope a victory wasn't declared upon a target which was just locked-on :)

Happy Easter Bub, you need to watch Top Gun, that is honestly how its done? You call a kill based on the launching aircrafts targeting data, which includes relative position, how long the target was in the Pipper, and the launched AAMs performance and lethality. The team in the OPs Center are the ultimate judges as to whether the shot is a "kill" or a miss.

So?? whether its 3 to 1?? or 8 to 1, the Raptor is the "alien bird", on your video, they are all Raptor drivers, so they know the "alien bird" inside and out, but they still were unable to get a "lock" on the Bad Raptor??? and he killed them all, "Like clubbing baby seals" is the quote!
