Last news, ANG Sqn based to Hickham/Hawaii have deployed recently normaly to Al Dhafra/UAE a flight of 6 first overseas deployment for this unit only no active on F-22.

Deployments to Kadena are more big, detachments of 12 in general, a 1/2 Sqn.

These deployments are no doubt to allow a rotation of other F-22s back home for crew rest and aircraft maintenance and upgrades. Those in Japan are no doubt on "stand-by" in case of an escalation or problem that demand their very unique capabilities.

Just wondering how well the AN/APG-77 + AN/ALR-94 can detect the B-2?

Yes but i add to Kadena you don' t have a detachment 12/12 months, minimum 6.
To Al Dhafra same things but actualy with ISIS all time.

And don't forget cargo aircrafts, heavy, A-400M and more big are very important for overseas deployments for carry personnal ofc but mainly weapons by ships very long ! and except USA also but less France few countries got permanent overseas airbases.

In more easy for USA get many many tankers for conveying fighters, big KC-10 is the " specialist " for it, a base on each coast with a big Wing for do it.

One example older French C-130/160 have need a stop for go to M-E and carry half of A-400M to max him do it without stop and more fast, no comparison.

Well and that is the beauty of the F-22?? It is a "force multiplier", it is a game changer, and no doubt will take on all challengers, she is a "heavy lifter"!

Now lets look at your A400M, beautiful airplane, very agile and powerfull, LOVE the FLYING displays! OFF the record, the C-130 A very likely has been rolled and looped by some of the barnstormers who flew her in the early days- "as per my DAD", no he wouldn't have done something that stupid?? Not on your life, but some of his buddy's would have? I knew a few of those characters, and they were characters.

Check out the formation flying of the "Four Horsemen" an informal USAF authorized "precision" formation and tactical demonstration team on the C-130A. Now I know you are proud of your bird, but Lockheed just rolled out the 2500th C-130J??? The C-130 is gonna be 60 this year, show me another 60 year old chick who is still the darling of the dance??

The C-130 is a fast, reliable, agile performer, shes the right sized airlifter? C27J not so much?? A-400?? well when shes 60 and that production line is still open, we'll talk! HEH, Heh, Heh! Brat
