Hey Goll-

You should check out the bands Wolfmother and The Darkness. Wolfmother is from Australia and is kind of popular with music-concious Americans like me who like rock. They owned at a couple of festivals, concerts etc, especially Cochella. I'd like to go see them. The Darkness is from England and they are pretty popular there, and they are pretty popular in America when they release new alblums. Neither of these bands get much MTV or radio play, because there seems to be some sort of conspiracy to keep rap and dance-pop in control of American's music. They might even be popular in Finland, I don't know. Both of them remind me of a classic rock-type sound we never get nowadays.

Thank you! Now I know another person who listens to Wolfmother. There was a punk/ska band that came in 4th place from Turkey in 2004.
