Espionage involving China

In the past, the US have exchanged captured Russian agents and assets to recover Russian officials and citizens who had betrayed their own country for the CIA and/or MI6.

Not to say Uncle Sam is motivated by humanitarianism or altruism, but in some instances, such traitors are worth something.

Nope. The only thing that such traitors deserve is death sentence with no reprieve.

The only tiny lucky break with this espionage case is that this nabbed subhuman is in the financial sector. What if that subhuman was involved the military sector - Or worse, in sectors related to the nuclear deterrence that ensures the very survival of the Chinese civilization state?

I merely explained why a gov't would be motivated to spare certain criminals, even if they are guilty of offenses like treason and espionage.

Just how the Chinese gov't proceeds with this case is up to and on the Chinese gov't, and what their priorities might be at any given moment.

Not sure about you, but I don't got a horse in this race.
