E-2D Advanced Hawkeye in 1/72 Scale

Finally, it was time to add all of the decals...and there are a lot of them. The vertical stabilizer paint scheme for VAW-115 on the USS George Washington is one that I particularly like. Also the walk ways on top if the aircraft to service the radar dome turned out particularly nice too.







She's looking very good.

Now it is just doing the touch up, working with a little decal set on a few of the decals, then adding the dull coats and taking the final, finished pictures.

All that was left for 1/72 scale E-2D Advanced Hawkeye was to do some touch up, add the nose decal (a cross) I had forgotten, and then paint the model with my standard two coats of clear dull coat. Once that was done it was time for the finish pictures.
